Formulate founder, Tyrone Hopwood’s 16 years’ experience in the insurance industry spans both underwriting and broking. Tyrone’s expertise in the underwriting fields of general liability, financial institutions, guarantee broking and alternative risk transfer were developed during his time holding senior positions at industry leading firms like JLT, Santam, and at a Lloyd’s of London cover-holder.

Tyrone holds a Master’s degree in Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of Business Science from UCT.
